Adult classes are for beginners and experienced artists. We offer classes in drawing, painting and ceramics. Students will work at their own pace and with close instruction due to the small sizes of the classes. Students are encourage to bring their own supplies, a basic supply list will be provided for each class.

These classes are for both the beginner artist and other artists looking to improve their skills and techniques. Drawing is the foundation of painting and is a good medium to start with when getting back into the art world. Whether in drawing or painting you will be given individual attention and instruction in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.
Drawing classes will bring you through an array of mediums including graphite, charcoal, pen and ink, pastels, colored pencils and conte crayons. Students will work on their own projects including still-life and photo-references.

Oil, Acrylic, or Watercolor Painting
Come join our painting class, whether just starting out or getting back into art, we offer a great studio that is well lit and has plenty of individual instruction. Choose the medium you wish to work in and develop the skills and techniques to create your own master piece. Students will work on their own individual projects from photo-reference or a still-life that can be set up at the studio. Individual attention is given in a group setting; class sizes are small from 8-12 students. Class enrolment is limited so register early. Students are encouraged to give constructive critiques of each others work. The studio has a relaxed atmosphere that allows students to become comfortable and ask questions freely.

All clay, glazes and firings are included. This class is designed to give students the knowledge required to work with clay. Learn how to throw pots on the pottery wheel along with learning hand-building techniques using the pinch, coil and slab building processes. We will cover surface decoration, glazing and firing of the pieces.Both functional and decorative pieces will be created.
